I happen to choose this book randomly and enjoyed it more than I expected to. The title of the book was interesting and the illustrations were beautiful. It is about where luck really comes from. Also it is an ironic story. The land of Ireland was filled with luck with the help of the leprechauns and of course the king of the leprechauns was afraid the luck will run out by they way everyone was using it, so he took it away. When Fiona and the king come face to face, you'll learn that true luck comes from within and not by some spell or magic. It's definitely a fantasy about the luck of the Irish but on the other hand it can teach a child, even an adult, that luck is what you make of it and that luck comes from within you and not what is around you. It is a fun story and you can do activities to interact with children with the story, the characters and just on plain luck.
